Beyond the Light - Scene 2
After debating which comments to include and coming up with a script, here's the much awaited scene 2 of Script Addict's Beyond the Light:
*Due to some unavoidable circumstances, Spike now plays Javi's character and Anna has been replaced by Prichie :)

great at least the sound was clearer this time. I noticed there's a third party involved. Who's MIKE??? and whats up with the MISSION????
The best thing that can happen early in the morning is that michael is asking maxene to look for alex so they could have a rematch on their poker game last midnight. Alex won and wanted to take hold of his winnings, so he ran away as fast as he could back to his humble abode. But unluckily, maxene managed to find him and tricks him to follow her downstairs where michael is waiting for another rematch. Alex will soon find out that michael managed to invite new friends so they could win over alex. They will be playing until michael loses!
The current video is better and clearer. Scripts easier to understand and actors do not eat the words.
siguro it would be nice if sumama yung guy sa girl tapos punta sila sa kay mike tapos yun pala isesetup ng girl yung guy biglang may trap pala hoholdapin or kikidnappin yung guy then he will be forced to a shotgun marriage with the girl. hehe
crap... i really wanted to see javi confess that he's gay. oh well... here goes.
maxie is pregnant. she's been having relations with both the guys, but is currently mike's girlfriend. mike has hired a doctor to perform a paternity test... yes, at 4AM because he can no longer wait. spike's character has been hiding for two weeks, and now that maxie has finally caught up with him it's time to know who had the more potent sperm! i'm rooting for spike! haha!
...it turns out mike is maxene's boss/ ex-boyfriend, who wants to take maxene back but only find out that she's currently in a relationship. So he plotted against alex by wanting to recruit him as maxene's partner coz maxene's partner was killed during thier last secret mission, so they went to this isolated building where alex' skills where tested and challenged by mike
Maxi can't be romantically involved with two men because she doesn't show a single spark for Alec based on Script #2 and vice versa.
So who is Michael?
Mike has to be romantically involved with Maxi because of that "loverboy" line uttered by Alec. So it turns out that Mike is Maxi's conceited, arrogant, rich and selfish bastard boyfriend. He's working at some multi-national company now and in his early twenties.
Alec just despises Mike precisely because of these traits. While he's still unemployed (slacker?), he's out making a name for himself. Alec keeps telling Maxi that he doesn't deserve her because he makes her do all these selfish things like waking up at 4am to go to his place. Alec thinks Maxi deserves better. Sometimes Alec thinks Maxi is blinded by Mike just because he's successful and confident but what a bastard!
Anyway, Alec is one of Maxi's close friends... way back from the college barkada. Maybe at one point he liked her but it faded quickly.
In truth, one of the reasons why Maxi "loves" Mike is because she feels that she won't find another "great" guy (materially and physically) like Mike. She isn't that rich - just normal, middle class.
She and Alec are seniors and soon to graduate. Alec still doesn't have a job lined up. Maxi is still applying for jobs (which explains the corporate look she has on -- job interview later). Mike's already a year or two ahead and employed at a good position.
But Mike is just a plain ass. Not only is he uberprotective of Maxi, a control freak and always wanting to know where she is and summoning her when she's not, he's secretly being unfaithful. And because of this he wants to make sure Maxi isn't! Talk about double standards!
Maxi's a levelheaded girl but can be a bit insecure. Mike called her up at 4AM for a booty call coz he apparently can't sleep. He has a major presentation early in the morning and "needs" Maxi to jumpstart his day. Poor Maxi. Maxi obliges. And it's not the first time.
Alec tags along because Maxi doesn't like traveling (driving/commuting) alone in the dark. Alec essentially cares for his friend even if her decisions frustrate him to bits.
"He has a mission for us" - a line uttered by Maxi is meant to be sarcastic.
BUT if we're following the combat storyline presented by Anonymous, here are some nice scenes that could be done:
1) Arnis - Filipino fighting! Yeah!
2) Fight Club - shirtless men fighting with no boundaries, no limits, bloody and bruised.
What is Maxene's secret job?
She kills political enemies like journalists and activists. (See why the Phils is ranked in the Top 10 of Most Political Killings in the World alongside Iraq)
Alec doesn't know that Maxene isn't as good as she looks. Nor is this Michael.
Michael and Maxene are assassins for hire... and hired especially by the corrupt government leaders, businessmen etc etc (think of all those officials accused of murder or sabotage)
They wire bombs into cars,shoot men, women and children at point range... etc etc. When you read the newspapers about another spate of unsolved murders, that's the handiwork of Michael and his group.
Now Michael wants to test Alec. Will he be up for it? Or will he be another dud with a moral crisis?
Secretly Michael wants to get rid of Alec right then and there. Fuck, Alec stole Maxene away from him! But Michael knows he needs all the agents he can get...
And so the showdown begins.

IMC stands for Integrated Marketing Communications.. yes, maxie is from UA&P. she's played by Prichie Fajardo (current video with 2nd scene) and Anna Bernal(first scene).
Hi to the moderator of this blog! I'm from UA&P too.. I'm a sophomore.. Can you guys help me decide which major I should take? People have been saying that IMC is UA&P's "flagship course".. I'm confused whether to take IEP or IMC... (sorry, this has nothing to do with the video, I'll write a comment about the video after this). Who's the guy in the video? He seems really cute :) I'm Sarah by the way :)
hey sarah, thanks for commenting! :) I'd highly suggest IMC if you think you can cut it - you have to be confidient (trust me, you can't be shy), be ready to LOSE SLEEP! (its not soo bad during your junior year but senior year? yiiikes!), be good and calm under pressure, be interested in media, creatives, advertising, or managine a brand etc (all that jazz) - but overall, i will say that despite the hard work IMC brings about a lot of satisfaction (and friends!) So, depending on what your goals are later in life, or simply what your drive is... that's up to you! It is very fun however, and most people that come from IMC end up very well-rounded, so that I appreciate very very much :)

Hi! Just like sarah who is a UA&P sophomore, I too am a UA&P sophomore. I got to this site because of the stickers you guys have been spreading throughout UA&P. (by the way, i see alot of your stickers in UA&P comfort rooms, UA&P stedent's notebooks, basta around UA&P in general).
Anyway, since it is UA&P's policy that we have to choose our course, which do you think is better UA&P - IMC or UA&P - MSCM? I'm really divided between UA&P IMC and UA&P MSCM coz they are both great courses.
In addition, I don't know if I'll survive in UA&P if i take IMC coz judging from your projects I think my next two years in UA&P will be hell. Will UA&P life be easier in MSCM?
Please answer this anyone ASAP because UA&P requires us to submit our application forms tomorrow and I have to decide already otherwise I will be courseless in UA&P.

i've seen prichie around UAP a couple of times! they're right.. she's gorgeous! i'm a sophomore in UAP and thinking of taking up IMC. i will replace spike's role if you don't mind. hahahaha! hey. will OSA allow projects like this? so you guys can make more interesting scenes about their love story.. neat!
